I remember seeing this Indian English dub on TV and being surprised asf bcz there was no info abt this whatsoever. I remember that the language setting would turn to English at around 11pm to 12 am which was super weird

Question: Could you do a English Dub History for Ojamajo Doremi? The dubs that I know of are:
1. Cloverway dub (1999, existence unconfirmed)
2. Ocean Studios dub (2000, completely lost)
3. Nickelodeon/Fox Kids dub (2001-2002, existence unconfirmed)
4. Voiceovers Unlimited dub (2004, completely lost)
5. 4Kids Entertainment dub (2005, completely found)
6. Looking for Witch Apprentices English dub (2021?, only available in the UK)

Do you gave a link for the Indian English dub I can not find it
Andy Latino says
I'm so glad that Netflix has the movies now, they even had both of them dubbed into Latin American Spanish with most of the original cast from the show, which had only received a dub for Spain previously.

The fact that there are so many dubs but most of them are unavailable is extremely frustrating as an English speaking fan lol. I am also sad to learn both voice directors for Albert and Sidney have passed away, that's a shame. Hopefully Netflix or someone can rescue at least one of these dubs.
HAYRAT says
can you talk about the philapeno dub (its an english dub)

Stand By Me Doraemon movies on Netflix were such a treat! I enjoyed how Mona Marshall’s Doraemon is in the same levels as the Japanese Doraemon voice knowing well that he is her favorite character to voice!
The second movie dub’s quality when it comes to the actors coming back in the swing of things reminds me of the Digimon Tri and Kizuna movie dubs where the old cast returning (Joshua Seth given he hasn’t been voice acting in a while due to his on stage touring events, but thanks to Digimon, he’s back voicing remotely from Florida on Prince of Tennis by Sound Cadence Studio as one of the minor characters and more from unannounced projects to come) took a bit in their acting but got better over time since it’s been like 16 years since they last voiced the DigiDestined and Digimon Partners.
The new cast for some characters replacing old ones due to some retired or busy with schedules took some time getting used to, but the dubs still are good especially in Kizuna where they gave it their all.

The Indian English dub is the only one I have ever seen where Doraemon sounds more like a robot, which is what he is.
TheBCPlayer says
In the Red Angel dub, Sue's last name has always been Minamoto. I also did have a recording of Boomerang UK's airing of "Noby's Underground Country", but the recording was deleted at some point and I have no idea when. Oops!

An Omni dub of "Doraemon" from the 90's with the titular character voiced by a Scottish actress!?! Interesting!
I wonder if it was released in Southeast Asian countries.
ChillyTheDog says
Was Researching more Dubs from Doraemon and found in the Hebrew Dub that Gian was voiced by Shay Horesh and that would be a Female Voicing as a Boy
Jessica Tresson says
Are you working on an episode of the Akazukin Chacha English dub? It's also considered to be lost media and it aired on Cartoon Network in Southeast Asia and Mandarin-speaking countries in 1998.
And also, great video as always! I love Doraemon and I still love him to this day.
Miko Chikamatsu says
6:56 The reason for the British accents is because of India and the UK having some history with each other. As a result, India uses British English when it comes to second languages there. In turn, the UK has some elements of Indian culture most notably curry being the most popular meal there. In fact, that’s partly the inspiration for Pokémon Sword and Shield’s curry mini game.

Oh wow, a Doraemon dub video on Christmas Eve! Truly is a Christmas miracle lol. Great video as always! 💝

TV Tropes says that Gian was voiced by a woman in the Arabic dub of the 2005 anime.

So, this is a brand new doozy! A brand new English dub of Doraemon! I wonder what adaptations they could've made to the characters names this time! I mean,
NobitaNoby be damned.Tanukid's Stash says
Correction: Sue’s last name was never Morris. That was fanon because of voice actress Cassandra Lee Morris’s last name.
