Doraemon: A Grandmother’s Recollections (おばあちゃんの思い出 Doraemon: Obāchan no Omoide) is a 2000 Doraemon short film. It won the Animation Film Award at the 55th Mainichi Film Awards.

Stand by Me Doraemon 2 (スタンド・バイ・ミー ドラえもん 2) is an upcoming Japanese 3D computer animated science fiction drama comedy film based on the Doraemon manga series and a sequel to 2014 film Stand by Me Doraemon. Directed by Ryūichi Yagi and Takashi Yamazaki, it will be largely based on Doraemon’s 2000 short film Doraemon: A Grandmother’s Recollections.

Plot :-
Nobita finds his old teddy bear among the trash after his mother partially cleaned up their shed and tells her not to throw it away. The stuffed animal is a precious gift from his beloved grandmother. Reminiscing about her makes Nobita ask Doraemon to take him back to when he was still three years old and his grandma was still alive.

Facts :-
This short film is based on the manga chapter Grandma’s Memories.

Coincidentially, Suneo’s voice actor in 2005 version, Tomokazu Seki, voices the younger Suneo in the short film when Suneo should still be voiced by Kaneta Kimotsuki.
